It’s rare to find a design that is both eye-catching and subtly chic. However, the Gucci G-Timeless Men’s watch YA126230 is just that. Initially, the large design and bold red and black contrast capture the eye. This watch features a black dial with bright red hour markers. The tips of the hour, minute, and second hands are red. The hour markers and all three hands on the watch are luminescent, as well. Additionally, our eye is quickly drawn to the bezel of the watch, which is circumscribed with the second’s index in intervals of ten. In another striking detail, the seconds between ten and twenty are marked in red.

It is only as we look closer that the finer details that characterize the essence of Gucci style begin to emerge. We notice the textured black background on the dial, and the date display at the 4 o’clock position. Our attention is also shifted to the iconic Gucci green/red/green band at 3 o’clock and the hidden deployment clasp on the watchband. This last feature helps ensure the timepiece is secure, no matter how vigorous the activity.

While these finer details make the style of the watch, it’s the invisible characteristics that make it a durable sports timepiece. The case is coated in black PVD, to enhance the strength of the stainless steel. Both the bezel and link band are made of ion-plated stainless steel, as well. The window on the dial is made of anti-reflective sapphire crystal to protect from the chips and scratches that come with every day wear. The watch itself runs on precise Swiss Quartz movement and is water resistant to 330 feet.
