Are you looking for a designer watch with a leather wristband and an uncluttered dial, perhaps in brown and bronze tones? Well, here’s something with all of those qualities. The Gucci G-Timeless Bronze Dial Men’s Watch YA126403 has a clean, classic style that really stands out from the other models in the G-Timeless collection.

This is the kind of watch that gives an impression of seriousness and professorial wisdom. Maybe it’s the G-Timeless style, or maybe it’s the brown watchband of embossed calfskin leather and traditional belt clasp buckle. Its bronze dial has a diamond pattern and the G frame that lends the initial to the name of the collection. Instead of numerals there are twelve hour markers that match the fixed bezel of polished stainless steel. The date display just touching the four hour mark is a very discrete extra.

The G-Timeless YA126403 is not a watch for the extremely active, lacking in particular the chronograph capabilities of some other G-Timeless models. Its water resistance rating means it’s splash-proof but unsuitable for prolonged contact with water. In addition to that, the simple design of the dial doesn’t quite have the easy readability of watches with numeral hour markings. For that reason it might be a little difficult to make out the time in poor lighting, despite the luminescent hands.

However, it can be found on other sites starting at $750 – about as inexpensive a starting price as you’re going to get in this collection and relatively affordable compared to some of the other luxury designer timepieces out there. If you like the design but are looking for a slightly different style, the G-Timeless Bronze Dial YA126406 has a steel wristband instead of a leather one. Other steel wristband models are also available with a silver or black dial. The more expensive models have diamond hour markers.
