This stunning watch, the G-Gucci Model YA125403, is a classic example of Gucci’s ability to meld the world of high-end fashion with that of quality craftsmanship. Handcrafted with the highest quality PVD coated black stainless steel, the band is formidable, yet delicate, and the Swiss made watch case is a gorgeous rounded off square of the same material.

This ladies timepiece is feminine, yet strong. Our eyes are drawn immediately to the all-black features, which have such great potential for dressing up a basic outfit or dressing down evening wear. The band, which consists of softly edged rectangular links joined together with a jewelry type clasp, transforms this watch into a fantastic piece of jewelry as well. I was particularly drawn to the sun-brushed black dial, which gives the face a dark silvery shimmer, especially when contrasted with the bright silver toned hands. Cleverly, the bezel is a fixed black G-shape, indented near the knob, reminding everyone, including you, that you’re not just wearing a watch – you’re wearing a luxury Gucci watch. Yet it does this all with a modern subtlety that implies class, rather than shouts it.

The potential drawbacks are few, and even scouring the internet revealed not a single complaint about this product, though I do feel it necessary to mention that the time is indicated only by sticks on the hour, and not marked with numbers, which could potentially make time-telling difficult for some.

Gucci’s ladies products are known for their luxurious, delicate feel and Swiss-made toughness, and this watch is certainly a fantastic example of such.
