Originally used to hold the shoe to the horse’s hoof, those pyramidal nails never had it so good. The modern reinvention keeps all of the countours and none of the dirt.

Gucci managed to marry the starkness of iron with the classic lines women look for in fashion jewelry. The Chiodo’s bracelet is made of refined, cool, stainless steel. The nail heads link to the watch case with elegantly shaped rings. The case features the shape of another nail, wrapped around the dial, with the pyramid nail head giving an accent near the date display. The case’s round shape gives the perfect complement to the sharp countours of the bracelet’s nails. The black lacquered flinqué dial gives a textured contrast to the smooth surface of the stainless steel.
